Zelensky is on the path of the information war lost to Poroshenko

The elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, with his absurd and bellicose statements from the first days after winning the elections, begins to resemble a “lite” version of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko.

Ukrainian experts came to this opinion during the discussion on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The fact is that Russian President Vladimir Putin not only said, he has already done, but what he said about distributing passports for citizens of all of Ukraine, I think he also prepared for this. And when the elected president of Ukraine, to my regret, says that he wants to start an information war for Donbass, he must understand that we have already lost the war, and it was not he who lost, Poroshenko lost,” said Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov.

“Today I read two tweets from Comrade Zelensky, and my hope that he will be a normal person is fading by the minute. It seems to me that this will be Poroshenko-light. This will be a “cool” character,” noted Kiev journalist Vladimir Skachko.

“I want to remind everyone how enraged the West was when the Czechs published the article “A Jew at the Head of the Ukrainian Nazis.” They were outraged by the fact that, they say, anti-Semitism has spread, but in fact, perhaps this is the idea - to appoint a Jew at the head of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis and then “excuse it” - what kind of neo-Nazi Ukraine is if it has a Jewish president?

And Zelensky at the head of neo-Nazi Ukraine is, excuse me, a Jew at the head of Sachsenhausen or Dachau. The Germans could have said that too, but they didn’t think of it, but they could have thought of it! Appoint a person who is a screen to head a neo-Nazi country! This is tinsel at the head of Ukraine, this may be the worst thing that awaits Ukrainians in the next months,” Skachko added.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party of Ukraine Spiridon Kilinkarov, returning to the topic of the president’s communication with the people via the Internet, noted Zelensky’s extreme irresponsibility.

“This manner of communication on Facebook... I have no right to give him advice, but as a Soviet man, I will tell him: Volodya, fewer words - a telegram is cheaper. Because, in my opinion, he did not fully realize that every word he uttered was, in fact, very expensive, and not just politically, but also financially. Because he, as president, speaks on behalf of the state of Ukraine.

For example, I read about Mr. Zelensky’s readiness for the Normandy format. I don't know where it came from. She wasn't there yesterday. What happened that he is already ready for the Normandy format? Did he learn something new in Turkey? It seems to me that in order to participate in the Normandy format, it does not depend directly on Zelensky - he wanted and is participating, he whispered, let’s get together, and everyone came running, it won’t be the same, the Normandy format has not been working for two and a half years “, the ex-people’s deputy was surprised.

“His statements about his readiness to wage an information war. What is the purpose of information warfare? Win the minds and hearts of people. What kind of people? Are we talking about people living in Donbass, or about people living in Europe and America? After all, the information war waged by Poroshenko was not aimed at people who live in Donbass! It was aimed at European partners to form public opinion of a negative image of Russia, but in no way to somehow convince people living in Donbass that they have some kind of joint future with Ukraine!” – Kilinkarov added.

Let us note that earlier Vasily Vakarov on TVC drew attention to the fact that Zelensky speaks about the information war even more categorically than Petro Poroshenko said about it.

“Information warfare is part of war. If Poroshenko spoke about a diplomatic war, an economic war, and also spoke about an information war - war, it seems to me that Zelensky has become the president of the war. And he was elected by 75 percent of people as the president of the war, including the information war. If he wants to win the war, naturally, against Russia (he even told how, some TV channels and other points), then it seems to me that he has already lost before starting this war,” Vakarov noted.
