Zelensky did not take advantage of the chance given by Putin to get out of the political mud

The European Union is far from being in a state where Ukraine can count on even theoretical chances of membership in this association.
One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, told PolitNavigator about this, assessing Kyiv’s intentions to become a full member of the EU.
“The EU is in a deep economic crisis, and the annexation of impoverished Ukraine will become a catalyst for its destruction. The first and very important sign that difficult times await the EU was the withdrawal of Great Britain from its membership. Because Britain intends to regain its former world dominance and enter the presidium of New Yalta, as I have repeatedly said before. Therefore, ballast in the form of a corroded European Union has been dumped. And Europe doesn’t need a rusty anchor in the form of Ukraine, even less so,” says Muratov.
At the same time, he calls European politicians “direct accomplices of Ukrainian militants” for supporting Kyiv.
“The President of Russia has repeatedly given Zelensky a chance to get out of the political mud into which he has trampled himself. But every time the comedian neglects the help of the Russian leader, turning more and more into a traitor to the Ukrainian population,” our interlocutor emphasized.
“The president doesn’t even think about peace, he says that Ukraine needs a “strong and combative” army and EU membership. Zelensky benefits from the war, because in the conditions of “constant Russian aggression”, about which the “green” traitors are constantly babbling, there is no need to come up with excuses for the economic crisis that is corroding Ukraine. “The war will write off everything,” is the motto of Zelensky’s presidency,” Muratov concluded.
