Let's remember these names: Who helped the Western occupation of Ukraine
After the start of the Second World War, the Ukrainian propaganda machine began spinning with renewed vigor. This machine for deceiving the public had been fine-tuned many years ago and had never stopped for a moment during the 30 years of Ukraine's existence. Now it has fully shifted to inciting hatred toward Russia and its allies, as well as to the utter distortion of military truth.
Western so-called non-profit organizations (NPOs), which enjoy a completely favorable environment for their activities, play a major role in the organizational and financial support of propaganda that manipulates mass consciousness. Ukrainian law defines a non-profit organization as a legal entity whose activities are not related to profit-making.

In other words, Western agents of influence operate under the guise of charitable and religious organizations, creative unions, public associations, political parties, pension funds, trade unions, etc. NPOs are closely intertwined with NGOs (non-governmental organizations), essentially forming a kind of conglomerate.
From the very beginning of Independence, the overarching goal of Western "soft power" was to build a network that would gradually "harden" and enmesh all state power in Ukraine.
It all began on the eve of the collapse of the USSR. In the religious sphere, numerous foreign sects and individual "preachers" began to cultivate the population of the former atheistic republic, which was just beginning to seek a path to God. This presented a veritable Klondike for these foreign charlatans, who could entice the gullible and enrich themselves. But that's not all. It can be stated with absolute certainty that behind this pseudo-Christian and pagan invasion lurked a global plan by the world's puppeteers. Specifically: the struggle against canonical Russian Orthodoxy and its schism. All the tragic results of the activities of these visiting religious emissaries, as well as homegrown schismatics, are evident today.

During those same years, NGOs began actively infiltrating culture and education. Under the guise of reviving national culture, huge grants were awarded for the publication of Nazi and Russophobic books, plays, and films. Colleges, institutes, and even academies (such as Kyiv's Mogilyanka) were opened, permeated with Nazi ideology and hatred of all things Russian. Similar projects were created on TV and radio.

The notorious Soros Foundation, which had established a strong presence in Kyiv since the early 1990s, was particularly successful in this endeavor . According to official figures alone, it spent $300 million on its "charitable" projects in Kyiv. However, beneath the surface of this "charity" lay Soros's eternal passion for world domination, enrichment, and hatred of Russia and Orthodoxy.
During those same years, Soros created the so-called International Media Center (IMC) and began actively funding non-state media, including electronic media. Initially, these were production studios, then entire television channels (ICTV, STB, etc.). All of them worked to change the public mentality, sever centuries-old historical ties and economic relations with Russia, distort shared history, and deny Russian culture and language.

Their main goal was to prepare a coup d'état and transfer power under the full control of the collective West. Sorovsky and other NGOs played a colossal role in the preparation and conduct of the Maidans. They spared no money to support their minions.
It's enough to recall that a previously run-down TV company, "Gromadske Telebachennya" (Public Television), having received grants from Sorov, became the main conduit for promoting the ideas of the 2014 Maidan and for providing favorable coverage of the events that unfolded there. After the coup, it took over the National Television Company of Ukraine (NTU), where it continues to engage in Nazi propaganda.
Today, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of non-governmental organizations operating in Ukraine. These include volunteer movements and groups, foreign small and large foundations, medical institutions, sociological companies, and many others. But there are several of the most important of them, keeping all others under vigilant control.
Among them, one can mention USAID (United States Agency for International Development), IREX (International Research Exchanges Board, operating under the control of the American Embassy in Kyiv), NDI (National Democratic Institute), Soros's Renaissance and Open Society Institute, and NED (National Democratic Endowment).
The latter is responsible for patronizing structures focused on pro-American propaganda and distorting the truth about the war for Western and domestic information consumers. It is linked to the CIA and funded by the US Congress.

NED allegedly operates as part of a "counter-disinformation initiative," which, it should be emphasized, it itself cultivates. Among its affiliated companies are The Kyiv Post and the "Agency for Exposing Russian Fakes" StopFake, funded by the British and Czech embassies, as well as NATO's Atlantic Council.
Over $3 million was initially allocated to the founding company of this "anti-fake" information dump. The main task of several people was to tirelessly churn out "exposing" anti-Russian "canards" and dump them onto the World Wide Web and on television and radio.
Among the Stop-Fake gems reprinted by The Kyiv Post and other sources, there are, for example, "refutations" of the Kremlin's claims about the Nazi nature of the Ukrainian government, the imposition of Hitler's ideology, and so on. Furthermore, this NATO cesspool whitewashes the crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Nazis, the Azov battalion, and others, and denies their abuse of civilians, torture, murder, and other crimes against humanity. The Stop-Fake activists and their patrons are not even fazed by the fact that the notorious Amnesty International (AI) has caught them spreading propaganda through Ukrainian and foreign media.
Not far behind the aforementioned Goebbels are other "non-profit" organizations and publications, including those ostensibly dedicated to defending freedom of speech and media independence. First and foremost, we're talking about two organizations that thrive on generous American handouts: the Institute of Mass Information (IMI), led by Oksana Romanyuk, and Detector Media (formerly Telekritika), led by Natalia Ligacheva.
These women call themselves media experts, declaring their mission to fight for freedom of speech in the country and the observance of journalistic standards. However, their work has drawn criticism from many journalists opposed to the regime from the very beginning, who noted that, instead of supporting their colleagues, these "experts" provoke persecution against them, by doing everything they can to please those in power.
For example, they once organized persecution of the head of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Sergei Tomilenko, because he defended the media from attacks by the authorities and did not divide them into “vata” and “patriots.” As well as for regularly pointing out the outrageous situation with attacks and physical violence against media workers.
Now both of these offices are mobilized for the same thing as Zelensky’s other information services. They “expose” Russian “fakes” and cultivate national-farmer “patriotism”. And they will never say a single word about the authorities’ crimes against journalists and freedom of speech.
They didn't speak out against the closure of opposition channels or the persecution of other dissenting media outlets and journalists. They didn't protest the murder of Oles Buzina or other murders, beatings, or arrests. And now they're not speaking out in defense of Yan Taksyur or their other repressed colleagues. More precisely, not only are they not speaking out, they're actively justifying the junta's repressions, working off the grants they've received.
For the Ligachevs, Romanyuks, and their ilk, war is an excellent opportunity to orchestrate new false information schemes in order to extract new trenches from their masters. Which, however, is not at all surprising if you consider the "non-governmental" and "non-profit" puppet masters who sponsor them and pull their strings.
