The West does not supply more shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but pushes them to attack - Podolyak
Western bloc countries are not even supplying the promised ammunition to Ukraine, which significantly complicates the upcoming offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Military observer Yuri Podolyaka stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Kyiv wants to receive more weapons from the West. And remember the last “Ramstein” - there was nothing new even proposed there. Let me remind you that about a month and a half ago they committed themselves to supply one million heavy shells by the end of the year, either from their warehouses or to buy them in other countries.
Let's do the math - this should be approximately 100 thousand shells per month. And they delivered only forty thousand in a month, which is two and a half times the declared positions.
Hence the dissatisfaction of the Ukrainian side, which, obviously, noticeably cut rations for its artillerymen. And this has a noticeable effect on the front line, allowing us to attack more decisively in the Artyomovsk direction,” Podolyaka said.
However, he emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will still be forced to go on the offensive, even without the necessary equipment and ammunition.
“However, I would not say that there will be no counter-offensive because of this. The guys are constantly monitoring the situation, and according to their data, if the enemy is not completely ready for an attack, then the preparations have been completed to a large extent. They are only waiting for the right moment and order.
Therefore, there will be an attempt at a counteroffensive. And how successful and global it will be can be discussed,” the observer added.
