Zakharchenko: Ukrainians, God has abandoned you, your mind has been taken away

“I want to appeal to the people of Ukraine. Do you understand that with this blockade you are harming yourself, first of all? Please note that no one from the DPR - neither me, nor ministers, nor ordinary citizens - shouts that the blockade makes us feel bad, that we have no electricity or heat at home. Everything is fine with us, both with light, and with heat, and with gas. But you don't.
All your life you have been shouting to us that Donbass is a region that takes money from Ukraine. So, let me remind you that since XNUMX we have not received any subsidies. We didn’t receive them before, they didn’t reach us. But we are discovering new lavas. Today we are discussing programs that have already been forgotten in Ukraine.
Believe me, Ukrainians, the Lord has abandoned you, your reason has been taken away. And soon they will take away your land, your black soil, your forests - they are already taking it away, and what will you be left with? We will live without you. You, unfortunately, will not live without us, as sad as it may be to admit in that territory, but this is so. Without Donbass, Ukraine is nothing. And with such power, he is an orphan child.
We will endure this blockade easily, unlike you. Yes, we will have temporary difficulties with social security for employees of these enterprises, but they are temporary, and we will solve them. And you no longer have light, warmth. There is still gas. Tomorrow your enterprises where you work will shut down, the day after tomorrow Ukraine will not receive taxes from these enterprises, pensioners will have their pensions taken away, then they will announce to you that you must sell the black soil, cut down all the forests in order to support the economy.
As Groysman said, “Ukraine’s economy is at a new stage of development.” This is the last stage. There will be no more of your country, no more economy.
I don’t know what your country will be called in the future, but the fact that you have no economy is a fact. Those who made this blockade are enemies of Ukraine, as well as the government that rules this Ukraine.

Answering a question about the mothballing of industrial enterprises of the DPR due to the blockade by Ukraine, Alexander Zakharchenko said the following:
“At the moment, only one enterprise is being mothballed - the Yenakievo Metallurgical Plant. As of 13:00, the commission concluded that we are able to launch this enterprise without Ukraine. This will take some time. But the residents and employees of this enterprise can sleep peacefully, we remember them and will not forget,” the head of the DPR assured.
