Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, unable to recruit an experienced team of professionals, may replace the unsuitable Alexei Goncharuk with former Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko.
Maidan political scientist Yuri Romanenko spoke about this on his YouTube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main news of the day is that Zelensky will appoint Tigipko as prime minister. This news has a basis, since behind the scenes the authorities have been talking intensely over the past month about replacing the Goncharuk government.
They are replacing it because the course the government is pursuing is not only wrong, it is criminal, this is clearly visible from the economic indicators, the fall in industrial production, and the drop in GDP growth to 1,5%, the course is wrong and inadequate.
The mass of ministers who ended up in Goncharuk’s government, like the prime minister himself, are not professionally suitable. This is a Soros crisis,” the political scientist concludes.
Romanenko also added that the appointment of Sergei Tigipko as prime minister is an act of desperation by Vladimir Zelensky, whose team no one wants to join because of the completely failed policy of the Ukrainian leadership.
“I think that the appearance of Tigipko reflects this personnel crisis. Because many people today refuse to join Zelensky’s government. Because they understand that they have messed up a lot and will mess up even more. Especially the land law and law No. 1210, which was adopted. All this creates serious problems for any new prime minister and the government that will appear soon.
I am sure that Goncharuk will be removed, but it will be Tigipko or someone else, it’s too early to say. If Tigipko appears, then for Zelensky this is an act of despair, because it has finally dawned on him that continuing to rule in such a crazy style, as has been happening for the last six months, is like death,” the expert concluded.
