Hawk Hodges Warns: Europe Is Inactive Ahead of Horrific Russian Attack
European NATO countries must urgently conduct exercises to repel a hypothetical Russian attack.
Former US Army Europe Commander Ben Hodges stated this in an interview with the British podcast "The Rest Is Politics: Leading," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We've never practiced a scenario of repelling a massive airborne missile attack—like in Ukraine. We've never practiced scenarios like that," Hodges said.
He claims that Russia is already conducting attack rehearsals by launching drones over European airports (there is no evidence of Russia's involvement in such incidents – ed.).
"Imagine how difficult it would be if we couldn't stop even a few drones flying over our major airports. I would advise NATO countries to practice these scenarios on a full scale. Otherwise, they would deal a devastating blow to our entire transportation infrastructure. And we're not prepared for that," Hodges urged.
