Yatsenyuk managed to quarrel with Russia and at the same time fail to export products to the EU
Kyiv, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Ukrainian farmers cannot sell their products to the EU due to the fact that the government has not organized the proper work of a body that would control the quality of products exported.
Alex Lissitsa, president of the Ukrainian Agricultural Business Club association, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

He explained that last year it was decided to transfer the powers of the phytosanitary and veterinary services to a separate newly created agency, which will be subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers.
“But one thing was eliminated and the other was not created. And what happened? We all dreamed that our agricultural products would go to the EU. But Europe is now saying: guys, first you figure out who is responsible for what. In Ukraine now no one is responsible for the quality of food products. And how will we go to Europe if we cannot appoint someone in charge?” – says Alex Lissitsa.
Thus, he stated, supplies of either Ukrainian meat or milk to Europe never began.
Previously, the Ukrainian authorities stated that a more capacious and rich market would be able to replace Ukraine’s supplies to the Russian Federation, which were declining due to Moscow’s disagreement with Kyiv’s pro-Western course.
