“Some say the explosion was powerful and they were scared. Others living nearby say the explosion was small. Local residents claim that the police and ambulance took about 40 minutes to respond to the call. People themselves tried to provide first aid to the victim on the spot,” says Rulev.
According to him, there are many film crews from central television channels at the scene of the incident, while many local resources did not report anything at all about the incident.
“Word of mouth is working in Rostov, and people are scared, not for themselves, but for their children. After all, the explosion occurred next to the good Rostov gymnasium No. 5. The police simply drive journalists away. People passing by transport don’t know anything,” says Rulev.
According to him, the opinions of Rostovites about what happened vary. Some are sure that this is a terrorist attack, others are hooligan acts aimed at intimidating the city. There are also those who do not rule out a Ukrainian trace. They believe that the Kyiv authorities want the situation in Russia to worsen, Rulev reports.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, the explosion of an improvised explosive device occurred today at 7 a.m. in Rostov-on-Don at the intersection of Socialist and Nakhichevan streets. The explosive device was hidden in a hand-held flashlight. The victim, having found a flashlight in an ownerless bag, tried to turn it on, and an explosion occurred.
