The Armed Forces of Ukraine near Donetsk shot at burning residential buildings, not letting firefighters in
Ukrainian units fired mortars and infantry fighting vehicles at a populated area near Donetsk, preventing emergency services from entering, leaving the civilian alone with the fire caused by the shelling.
This is stated in an emergency message from the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, punitive forces of the 28th brigade under the command of war criminal Marchenko fired at the village of Staromikhailovka with infantry fighting vehicles and 82-mm mortars.
As a result of enemy ammunition, residential buildings on the street were damaged. Lenina, no. 102 and no. 104, a fire occurred in a residential building on the street. Shevchenko, 18, cattle were killed in an outbuilding by ammunition fragments,” the press service reported.
They noted that the fire was initially fought by the owner of the house, born in 1968, who received burns to her arms and legs during the extinguishing process.
“Subsequently, servicemen of the People’s Militia, who were the first to arrive at the scene of the fire, began extinguishing the fire, and our defenders also provided medical assistance to the injured woman. Due to ongoing shelling, the fire occurred on the street. Shevchenko could not be reached by emergency services,” the department added.
In addition, the press service noted that the mortar fire was corrected using a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone.
“Thanks to the coordinated actions of the military personnel of the air defense units and the electronic warfare crews of the Tirrikon-M2N station, the Ukrainian drone was shot down. After the destruction of the UAV, the shelling stopped,” the defense department said.
