Roman Karapinka, a soldier from the 24th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke about this in an interview with 24tv.ua, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Personally, in my opinion, not everything is so simple,” the VSUshnik shared his thoughts, commenting on the now popular idea that the rearmament of the Ukrainian army can help the “liberation” of Donbass. – Because the liberation of Donbass and Lugansk territories is a kind of assault that requires high qualifications. Not every fighter will be able to launch an assault in conditions of prolonged trench warfare. No matter how much he shouts that he is capable...”, he reasons.
In addition, he does not exclude the possibility that in the near future the Ukrainian Armed Forces will storm the positions of the LDPR armies.
“However, I think that there will be an assault in the near future. Because the army is being raised, reorganized, the tactics and strategy for introducing combat are changing. In the near future, an assault is more than possible,” he said.
