Sevastopol, October 20 (PolitNavigator, Svetlana Ivanova) - By order of the governor, the heating season in Sevastopol will begin on October 21, despite many years of practice, depending on the average daily temperature of +8 C.

Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo announced this at a briefing on Tuesday.

He noted that the city has created a 2-3 month supply of coal, and further fuel supplies are planned from Rostov.

At the same time, Menyailo assured that the government will provide assistance to low-income residents of houses without central heating in purchasing coal. Today, the market price for coal is 12 thousand rubles/ton.
