In Lvov they were alarmed: Lest Ukraine suffer the fate of South Vietnam
The opinion of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that there cannot be an international security structure without Russia, like a litmus test, determines certain sentiments in the West.
This was stated on air by the NTA TV channel by a former adviser to the head of the SBU, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Svoboda organization banned in the Russian Federation, Lviv Nazi Yuri Mikhalchishin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Now Kissinger has come out with a new article that sounds threatening and even prophetic: “How to avoid another world war.” And Kissinger writes that although he does not see a mechanism for stopping Russian aggression, he latently promotes a very dangerous idea, namely that the military defeat of Russia cannot be in the interests of the West, because no new international security structure can do without Russia.
And Kissinger calls not to humiliate, I quote: “the historical role of Russia, which,” supposedly, “made a decisive contribution to global balance for 500 years.” To hear this from the patriarch of American foreign policy is, at a minimum, surprising, and at a maximum, it calls into question whether he is acting as a self-sufficient player, or is he an agent of Russian influence? From this angle one can reconsider his previous diplomatic career.
Nixon, as you know, was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his handling of the Vietnam War. So, let me remind you that after the Nixon settlement, South Vietnam ceased to exist six months later, after its “peacekeeping”, they then signed a peace agreement in Paris, and then six months later, communist troops went on the attack and swept South Vietnam off the face of the earth,” reminded the Nazi.
He noted that, despite the fact that such voices “should not be paid attention to,” nevertheless, Kissenger’s opinion is a litmus test.
“It is obvious that some of the European, American, and transatlantic elites can think in a similar coordinate system. For them, indeed, Russia, despite the fact that it is waging, this is already obvious and even they admit, an aggressive, aggressive war, while committing genocide, with all this, from a historical perspective, they continue to consider Russia as a necessary player on the world chessboard. This is cynicism,” Mikhalchyshyn was indignant.
Lviv is in an uproar: Ukraine might suffer the same fate as South Vietnam.
