Ukrainian political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko stated this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, a feature of the upcoming campaign will be the participation, in addition to young and old political forces, of exotic politicians such as singers, pop artists, preachers, writers, athletes and simply original personalities. The political scientist believes that in the end, three extraordinary candidates will be allowed directly to the elections.
“This is the Ukrainian singer Vakarchuk, popular among young people, who is now being actively promoted as a rising political star who has neither experience nor any shortcomings... The second exopolitician, a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine will be the famous Ukrainian pop actor, star and director of the humorous program “95th Quarter” “-Zelensky,” writes Nebozhenko.
He also claims that President Poroshenko’s polytechnologists are intensively looking for an alternative to Tymoshenko in the presidential elections among women.
“This will be an analogue of the Kremlin’s project - “Ukrainian Sobchak.” Now there is a competition for this role (Lutsenko, Gerashchenko, Bogoslovskaya, etc.). In this way, the authorities are trying to turn the election campaign into a complete carnival, a political talk show, which will avoid reporting to the people and refuse a serious conversation between dissatisfied voters and the unpopular President Poroshenko,” Nebozhenko assures.
