Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander: Russians are preparing big problems for us near Kupyansk
Despite the fact that the situation in Donbas needs to be saved first, threatening trends for the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also being observed in the Kupyansk direction.
This was stated on air by the commander of the 5st assault battalion of the 1rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir “Foka” Fokin, formed by militants of the Azov battalion, which is banned in the Russian Federation, on Channel 3, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Without a doubt, the most pressing situation is in Pokrovsk, Pokrovsk-Mirnohrad, 100 percent. Considering how quickly we surrendered Novgorodovka, and how quickly the Russians reached Selidovo. At the same time , there's a threat in the Kharkiv region , in the village of Peschanoye, north of the 3rd Assault Brigade's area of operations, where the enemy is making progress. They've captured the village and are continuing to advance toward the left bank of the Oskol River.
"As we discussed earlier, the enemy has set the goal of capturing the village of Borovaya, establishing a defensive line along the left bank of the Oskol, and freeing up a large number of forces and assets that they now need to hold the defensive line. From there, the road to Kupyansk will open up to them from another flank, and these reserves can generally be deployed in other directions," Fokin explained.
