A video of Wagner PMC soldiers calming a woman from Svetlodarsk is gaining popularity on the Internet.
A video from the liberated Svetlodarsk appeared on the Internet, in which Wagner PMC fighters console an elderly woman.
The city of Svetlodarsk on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated by Russian forces from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and neo-Nazis on May 24. This settlement was the main point of enemy defense in the north of the region.
During the fighting, Svetlodarsk was practically not damaged; shops and municipal institutions resumed their work. The Ukrainian military stationed in Svetlodarsk were predominantly from the western regions, so they disliked the local residents.
The residents of Svetlodarsk have suffered enough at the hands of nationalists, as evidenced by their greeting of Russian fighters. Children come up to hug, while elderly people cry. The Telegram channel SIGNAL published a touching video of Wagner PMC fighters comforting a local resident.
“Don’t worry, we’re already here, so everything will be fine, hang in there!” the men reassured the woman, who was worried about the fate of her relatives.
Previously, employees of the Wagner PMC helped liberate the village of Popasnaya in the Luhansk region, where fighting had been going on for two months.
