The Verkhovna Rada demanded the confiscation of the property of deputies of Crimea and Sevastopol

Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution to appeal to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine demanding criminal prosecution of deputies of Crimea and Sevastopol involved in organizing the referendum held in March 2014.

A separate line in the appeal speaks of the need to initiate criminal cases against speakers Vladimir Konstantinov and Yuri Doinikov.

The resolution provides for the need to confiscate the property of Crimean politicians on the territory of Ukraine. Earlier, the Ukrainian parliament passed a law allowing trials in absentia.

The author of the initiative for the appeal was MP Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

The resolution was adopted without discussion in the hall.
