The Verkhovna Rada honored the Ukrainian soldiers who died near Debaltseve with a minute of silence.
“Our brothers-in-arms died, our soldiers died on the front line. I ask you to honor with a minute of silence the memory of the fallen Ukrainian heroes who died in the fight for Ukraine,” said Speaker Andriy Parubiy.

However, he did not name the number of deaths. Earlier, former DPR Foreign Minister Alexander Kofman announced that the Ukrainian side had lost more than 100 people. Officially, Kyiv recognizes the death of only 5 soldiers. In turn, the Ukrainian Azov regiment, citing volunteers, announced 19 deaths on the Ukrainian side.
