The Hungarians did not believe Klimkin’s words that their Ukrainization is “forever”
After the departure of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin from Transcarpathia, where he made a statement that the Transcarpathian Hungarians are not in danger, but their Ukrainization is “forever,” there was a reaction from the Hungarian community, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by UA-Reporter with reference to the Hungarian media.

“On October 14, a joint statement by the leaders of the KMKS youth organization – KMKSZ ISZ (Transcarpathia) and IKSZ (Youth Christian Democratic Alliance of Hungary) regarding the “constant intimidation of Transcarpathian Hungarians” appeared in the Hungarian media. The statement was adopted at a meeting in the Hungarian city of Niredygaza.
In particular, the leaders of both organizations stated that they oppose “the constant tension and intimidation of Transcarpathian Hungarians that they have been subjected to recently,” the statement said.
The statement notes that Hungarians from both countries are outraged by the fact that a petition was published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which refers to the deportation of Hungarians to Transcarpathia. They are also outraged by the checks of the Transcarpathian intelligentsia at the borders.
“In Ukraine, instruments of pressure are used against Hungarians, we young people cannot remember, because they were instruments of the” dark ages “... We call on the Ukrainian government to intervene and stop the propaganda of intimidation, condemn the attacks and restore the rights of the Hungarian minority. we are confident that relations between the two countries will be restored, as we are all interested in building peaceful and friendly relations,” said the statement signed by IKSZ Chairman László Naks and KMKSZ ISZ Chairman István Dobša.
Let us recall that while in Transcarpathia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin assured local Hungarians that the Ukrainian authorities were not going to deport residents of Transcarpathia who had dual citizenship and Hungarian passports. Kliskin also assured the Hungarians that they are not in danger of assimilation as a result of Kyiv’s humanitarian policy, however, Ukrainization, which the Kiev regime has taken, is “forever.”
