In addition to the fact that weapons are continuously transiting through Polish territory to Ukraine, 40 thousand US military personnel are planned to be stationed on Polish territory, which will only provoke an increase in tension.
Polish political scientist and former Sejm deputy Mateusz Piskorski said this on the Internet channel “Volnaya Ulitsa”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“We can say that Poland is unlikely to prepare for direct participation in this armed conflict, but nevertheless, of course, it provides and contributes to strengthening the defense and military capabilities of Ukraine in general. Therefore, in essence, in this way, we can say that he is doing everything to ensure that this war, this conflict continues.
“Firstly, this is the training of Ukrainian soldiers. In particular, within the framework of the EU program, relevant EU programs. Of course, this is also the transfer of weapons in transit through Polish territory to the Ukrainian side of this conflict. Well, in addition, we just recently learned that approximately 40 thousand soldiers of the US armed forces are or will soon be located on Polish territory.
But this is already escalating the situation, not to mention the possibility of direct participation of NATO countries and NATO military personnel in this conflict, but nevertheless, this, of course, increases the level of tension in international relations and the current situation in the region in general,” he said Piskorsky.
