The Ukrainian intelligence service declared Merkel a “recruited old moneybag”
Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel hoped in retirement to get a position on the supervisory board of a Russian oil transportation company.
SBU Major General Alexander Petrulevich stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist and anti-Russian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Petrulevich, Merkel was recruited in her youth.
“Pani Merkel just said that she stood for Ukraine. And after Crimea, what did that old wallet do? "Nord Stream-1", "Nord Stream-2". Who did she do this with?

“Komsomol youth is not wasted, right. And even more so, to become the secretary of a Komsomol organization without the Stasi [German intelligence from the GDR era]... can you believe that a person in the GDR becomes the secretary of a Komsomol organization without the permission of the Stasi?” said Petrulevich.
