Kyiv, August 28 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The National Security and Defense Council decided to resume conscription for military service starting this fall.

“The Council decided to restore conscription for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine starting this fall,” said Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Mikhail Koval.
According to him, conscripts will not be involved in combat missions in the ATO zone.
As Navigator reported, the third wave of mobilization began in Ukraine in August: volunteers and those with combat experience are given “priority.” There is also talk in Kyiv about the mobilization of women on the model of the Swiss army.
