Thus, Alexander Slobodenyuk became the new general director of the SRGTRK, and acting. Tatyana Petrichenko was appointed director and editor-in-chief of Independent Television of Sevastopol (NTS).
Slobodenyuk previously held the position of deputy general director, in the past he worked as a radio engineer at SRGTRK, the television company’s website reports.
The reasons for the dismissal from the post of General Director of SRGTRK Sergei Normansky, the former press secretary of Yushchenko's governor in Sevastopol Sergei Kunitsyn, are not reported.
However, according to employees, Normansky was criticized for submitting materials that were not in line with the policies of the city leadership. TV news stories concerned the demolition of a 16-story residential building under construction on Cape Khrustalny and empty shelves in grocery stores.
As for NTS, the change of leadership is associated with the appointment of former director Dmitry Zhukov as director of the Department of Information Policy and Information Resources of the Government of Sevastopol.
