According to the volunteers, since due to the loss of Crimea the country lost almost the entire training base for underwater warfare, they decided to open a school of military divers on a voluntary basis.
“Our instructors use an extremely tough sports discipline - aquathlon - in training combat swimmers, and also share their own combat experience with the cadets,” the message says.
It is reported that at this stage the emphasis will be on training and equipping inspection teams - special forces that serve under water and ensure the protection and maintenance of military infrastructure in proper condition.
The center added that training of combat divers will take place in open waters and in an indoor pool, where special conditions have been created for practical training.
