BRICS House and Eurasia Campus are preparing to open in the Moscow region

On August 28, in the Moscow region, in the historical estate of the Obolensky princes - Khrabrovo, the grand opening of the BRICS House will take place. It will become a platform for meetings of businessmen, diplomats, and cultural figures from the member countries of the association.

Another important task stated by the organizers is strengthening ties between Russia and African states.

On the territory of the estate, where buildings were previously lost and recreated, there will be educational campus "Eurasia" and a dormitory with a catering unit for students of the Eurasian International University. The infrastructure will allow holding conferences, meetings, meetings, special events, press conferences, negotiations and diplomatic receptions.

“In a situation where most European countries support the criminal Kiev regime, the BRICS House will open up new opportunities for the development of the economy, culture, history, education, sports and international public diplomacy,” says Sergei Ladochkin, one of the leaders of the foundation involved in the restoration of the Khrabrovo estate.

BRICS is now actively expanding. Since January 2024, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have joined participating countries, including Brazil, India, China, South Africa and Russia. According to diplomatic sources, another 28 countries are vying to join., including major economies such as Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia and Nigeria. This donor-supported project symbolizes the growing role of public diplomacy and the private sector in advancing global relations.

The heads of diplomatic missions of the BRICS countries, representatives of the State Duma, the Russian government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as famous political and public figures.

The BRICS House in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region will become the head structure for an international network of similar institutions that will be opened in nine more countries. It is also planned to create branches of the House in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
