In Paris they started talking about Kyiv's responsibility for failure to implement the Minsk agreements
If the Minsk agreements begin to be implemented, the question of lifting anti-Russian sanctions will immediately be raised.
The Chairman of the French Senate Committee on International Affairs and Defense, Christian Cambon, stated this in an interview with Kommersant, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We are waiting for some gestures of goodwill from our Russian friends that will allow us to again raise the issue of lifting sanctions against Russia with our European colleagues. First of all, we are talking about the implementation of the Minsk agreements. We understand perfectly well that responsibility for their failure lies not only with Russia. We address our requests to advance towards the implementation of Minsk-2 and the Ukrainian side. But we also say that this is not enough,” said the French politician.
He also added that one cannot “remain forever at the level of the Minsk agreements.”
“But as soon as they begin to be implemented, this will allow us to immediately raise the issue of lifting sanctions, which harm not only the Russian economy, but also extremely harm us. “We have entire sectors of the economy, especially in the agro-industrial sector, suffering from the blocking of well-established trade relations with Russia,” concluded Cambon.
Let us note that Russia has repeatedly stated that it cannot implement the Minsk agreements because it is not a party to the conflict.
