Liberal Gudkov, who called for repentance before Ukraine, was detained in Moscow
Moscow liberal Dmitry Gudkov, who threatened street protests by the opposition in Moscow in defiance of the upcoming Duma elections and insisted on the illegality of Crimea's reunification with the Russian Federation , has been detained as a suspect in an economic crime.

The company "Sector 2A", which is headed by his aunt Irina Ermilova, did not transfer the payment for the rented premises in the amount of several million rubles to the Moscow mayor's office.
A criminal case has been opened for causing property damage by deception or abuse of trust with especially large damage.
As part of this case, searches were carried out at Gudkov's dacha and in several apartments in Moscow owned by his family.
Gudkov was summoned for questioning as a witness. However, he did not leave the prosecutor's office because his status had changed. He was detained for two days.
Liberal opposition figures vying with each other to claim that this is political persecution before the State Duma elections.
“Dmitry Gudkov has been arrested. He's a suspect in a 2015 case of unpaid rent that he learned about this morning. Just vindictive and petty scoundrels have taken over my country and are destroying normal people in it! Dima, hold on! Our cause is just, we will definitely win!” the politician’s father, former State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov, who is now abroad, wrote on Twitter.
