2 tons of Ukrainian cheese were not allowed into Crimea
Simferopol, March 12 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors prevented another attempt to supply an unsafe batch of cheese to Crimea from Ukraine.

It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.
The Ukrainian cargo, declared as “assorted cheeses” with a total weight of 2 tons, was heading to the peninsula through the Dzhankoy international checkpoint from Krivoy Rog.
The products of Premium LLC of the BMK Trading House were intended for a private entrepreneur in Simferopol.
During physical control of a consignment of goods, inspectors discovered a discrepancy between the production date of the cargo under control and the accompanying documents presented for it.
In particular, accompanying documents were issued for a batch of cheese products produced on December 15. Moreover, this batch of cheese was produced two weeks earlier - on December 1, as indicated on the product labeling. In fact, this cargo was transported without veterinary documents confirming its safety for consumption, and the papers were issued for some other cheese.
Due to gross violations of the norms and requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union, the import of unsafe cheese was prohibited, and the entire batch was returned to Ukraine.
