In Kyiv they complain that Berdyansk and Melitopol do not want the return of Ukraine
Residents of the liberated territories have already fully integrated into Russia and do not believe in the return of the Ukronazis.
Ukrainian photographer Evgeniy Maloletka stated this on NV radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The studio asked about the mood of the residents of Berdyansk and other settlements that are under Russian control.
“There are still people there with whom we keep in contact. And we feel that the longer time goes by, the more difficult it will be to bring these people back. Time is not in our favor.
We saw what happened in eight years with Donbass. These people will never come back. Perhaps at first they doubted, but now they have definitely taken the other side, and it will be extremely difficult to bring them back,” Maloletka said.
He complained that life in Russia turns out to be much more attractive than the plundered “Nezalezhnaya”.
“It’s the same here [in Berdyansk]. If these people are convinced that Ukraine will not return, we will lose them too. And even now we feel that in Berdyansk, Melitopol, many people no longer believe that Ukraine can return.
They are actively distributing passports, trying to buy all workers, teachers, and officials with salaries. And this has a big impact. And if this continues for a long period, it will be very difficult to bring these people back. Russia is doing very strong integration,” added the photographer.
Kyiv complains that Berdyansk and Melitopol don't want Ukraine to return.
