“Now active work is underway to persuade them to join the Russian armed forces, or ask for refugee status and condemn the activities of Ukraine and the leadership of the armed forces,” Malomuzh said.
According to the general, the soldiers, exhausted by temptations, went on a hunger strike.
“Our fighters do not give in to temptations and even went on a hunger strike. At the moment, the issue of admitting the Ukrainian Consul General and representatives of the leadership of the armed forces to them to develop a mechanism for the return of soldiers to Ukraine is being decided,” says Malomuzh.
