In Kyiv they were inspired: there will be no blackout - the Russians are not hitting nuclear generation
Ukraine's nuclear power generation guarantees that the country will not be plunged into darkness and that military production will not be halted as a result of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
This was stated on the VoxUkraine channel by the director of the Ukrainian energy company Yasno, Sergey Kovalenko , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I think a complete blackout of Ukraine is theoretically possible , and I'm speaking as a theoretical physicist. Because if 100 missiles were launched at every substation, every power facility, and they all hit, then, of course, anything is possible. However, a complete blackout of Ukraine is almost impossible to achieve ; I don't see the preconditions for a complete blackout.
Is it possible to surpass all generation? In my opinion, it's impossible. Why? Because our largest generation facilities, primarily nuclear power, account for well over 50% of the total, nearly 70% . I don't think they'll surpass nuclear power, or even successfully surpass it. "That is, we're already saying that we have roughly 60-70% of the generation we need ," Kovalenko stated.
Kyiv is encouraged: There will be no blackout – the Russians are not attacking nuclear power generation.
