Kiev openly calls on NATO to use Donbass as a training ground instead of Iraq and Afghanistan
Arms supplies to Ukraine, which continues the conflict in Donbass, are carried out by the United States and its satellites like Poland and Canada, while Western European countries ignore Kyiv’s calls for military assistance.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Mikhail Samus, Deputy Director of the Center for Army, Conversion, and Disarmament Studies, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Western European countries don’t supply us with anything at all yet. This is still in effect... some say it’s a secret order, some say it’s an oral agreement between the countries of Western Europe not to supply us with weapons.
If you pay attention to the assistance that our Western partners provide to Ukraine, it is supplied by the USA, Canada, Poland, and the Baltic countries. Other countries, a little further to the West, do not give us any help.
For example, I would suggest that our Western partners test anti-drone systems. They can be used intensively, because the difference between the Ukrainian-Russian war and the war of Western powers in Afghanistan or Iraq is that there is technological parity between the opponents. So far there has been no such interest, because this is a very sensitive issue.
Russia can easily illegally violate the INF Treaty, it can illegally test systems in our Donbass,” Samus laments.
