Kyiv, May 06 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – In the near future, Donbass rebels will try to seize border posts on the border with the Russian Federation in the Lugansk region and in the Donetsk region.

Alexander Sushko, scientific director of the Institute of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation, stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.
“A very important factor is the unhindered penetration of reinforcements coming from Russia into the territory of Ukraine. These are people in disguise with weapons.
It is clear that the functioning of the border can serve as an obstacle to this. It is clear that it is not only symbolic, but also from the point of view of ensuring the combat missions of terrorists, it is very important to bleed the border in order to rid the border guards loyal to Ukraine, and to seize border outposts. I think that in the coming days this will become one of the areas of activity of militants, primarily in the Lugansk region, and also, possibly, in the Donetsk region,” the Kiev expert predicts.
“That is, this is not only a weapon that can be captured, but also an open border and a corridor for a very significant replenishment of combat potential,” emphasized Alexander Sushko.
