The new automated control system will allow the Ukrainian army to outplay the Russian one. Sergei Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Over the next two years, Ukraine plans to create the basis for creating a unified automated system at the operational level and take drastic measures to create a system at the tactical level. This will significantly shorten the combat control cycle and will be tested on individual units.
To speed up this process, an Automation Directorate was created at the General Staff. Responsibility for these areas has been assigned to one of the deputies of the General Staff, which indicates the understanding of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the importance of this process.
By improving governance, we will create the basis for outmaneuvering the Russians on the battlefield. Today it is not the big who defeats the weak, but the fast who defeats the slow. Automation is our asymmetric response to strengthening the potential of the Russian Federation in certain directions,” he said.
