Ministry of Internal Affairs press secretary Artem Shevchenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, a man named Sasha, driving someone else’s Sang Young Kyron and without a driver’s license, committed an accident in Obolon, after which he fled the scene.
Two police crews rushed to pursue the offender - he stopped in Novoselki behind Khotyanovka in the Vyshgorod hydroelectric dam area. There, the culprit of the accident deliberately damaged two police cars, slamming one of them into a building, and was eventually detained.
“The breathalyzer showed zero ppm, but the behavior was strange. A drug test is ahead. He admitted his guilt in what he had done. The actions of the police were previously recognized as correct. Wait for the video from the place of detention later,” Shevchenko wrote.
Yesterday there was a similar accident involving a police patrol, a pregnant woman was injured.
