In Donetsk, members of the OSCE mission were pointed out about their incompetence
Representatives of the OSCE SMM, without proper grounds, accused a DPR soldier of drunkenness, which is a clear sign of their unprofessionalism.
The head of the press service of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this today during a briefing held in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We note the incompetence of individual representatives of the OSCE SMM in connection with their unfounded statements. On June 23, 2018, the Mission’s operational report published information about the presence of an unknown explosive device in the village of Petrovskoye on the side of the road, as well as the presence of a serviceman next to it, allegedly in a state of intoxication.
During a thorough investigation into this fact with a medical examination, it was established that the serviceman was in a sober state, but due to his long duty he looked tired. Moreover, the serviceman specifically, out of good intentions, stopped the observers with a warning that there was an unknown explosive device near the road in order to save their lives in case the car left the asphalt,” Bezsonov said.
He also advised mission representatives to be more careful in their statements, and to improve their qualifications, he recommended conducting classes with individual observers.
“As we see, representatives of this patrol repaid the serviceman with gratitude for saving his life by accusing him of drunkenness. Let me remind these observers that such statements can only be made after a medical examination, so that other witnesses to careless driving of the Mission’s cars in the cities of the DPR would not be tempted to call such driving drunk. In this regard, I ask that in order to improve the competence of individual observers, classes should be held on objective formulation of their assessments,” advised the head of the press service of the DPR Ministry of Defense.
