Actor Dmitry Nagiyev announced that he is stopping hosting the talent show “The Voice” on Channel One.
His words were confirmed by the chief producer of music and entertainment broadcasting on Channel One, Yuri Aksyuta, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said that Nagiyev would take a creative break this season.
“Several seasons ago, Dmitry Nagiyev and I decided that after ten years he would take a creative break. The last “Voice” just became the anniversary, which means it’s time for change. The new season, according to tradition, opens the competition for older generation performers [“Voice. 60+"] and we offered it to be hosted by one of the brightest stars, the incomparable and charismatic Larisa Guzeeva,” said Aksyuta.
Scandalous TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak is sure that Nagiyev’s “creative break” is connected with the Northern Military District in Ukraine.
“Nagiyev turned out to be a smart guy. Like Posner, he has not uttered a word since the beginning of the special operation, but work on the First Federal Channel is now in full swing [Roskomnadzor] - this is a real risk of sanctions on Western accounts and on the possibility of entry.
