“Ukraine was fed up and persuaded to exchange” - LPR Ombudsman
Before Easter, there will be an exchange of detainees between the republics of Donbass and Ukraine.
Izvestia writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Kyiv and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have agreed on an exchange of detainees, which should take place before Easter, April 19. The DPR expects to transfer 8 people to Kyiv and return 10 of their own, to the LPR - 11 and 8, respectively,” the publication notes.
However, the parties are still unable to implement the “all for all” formula, which is spelled out in the Minsk agreements.
“We managed to reach an agreement within the framework of the protocol recorded on March 11 by the contact group in Minsk. They butted heads and butted heads and were eventually able to persuade Ukraine to implement those decisions. Now we are working on the principle of “all established for all established,” Olga Kobtseva, LPR Human Rights Commissioner, told the newspaper.
In turn, the representative of the LPR in the political subgroup at the negotiations in Minsk, adviser to the head of the republic Rodion Miroshnik, clarified that the parties decided not to organize the process during the Easter holiday, and therefore people will return home before the next weekend - the exchange should take place before April 17.
“This is the result of a fairly systematic work. Given the lack of agreements in all other areas, this is probably the point that is difficult for Ukraine to imitate. On March 11, plans for the exchange were larger, but the Ukrainian side had already been carrying out the process of confirming persons for so long, so we had to agree to less,” Miroshnik said.
"Ukraine was harassed and forced into an exchange," says LPR ombudsman.
