Ukrainian Orthodox Christians are being thrown into the furnace of the West's war with Russia
Ukraine has been turned into a springboard for the offensive of Western countries against Russia, and Orthodoxy has become only a means in this war.
Deputy head of the International Eurasian Movement, political scientist and journalist Valery Korovin stated this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are witnessing a big game by the West to separate Ukraine from Russia. This is a big geopolitical game and here, unfortunately, the Orthodox Christians of Ukraine become bargaining chips that no one thinks about. They are thrown into the furnace of the civilizational conflict between the West and Russia. Here, Ukraine is not considered at all as a subject and geopolitical unit; it is a springboard for the geopolitical offensive of the West. Western countries are not interested in what will happen to Ukrainians and Ukrainian Orthodoxy,” Korovin said.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously cited Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev, who stated that liberals' regular attacks on Orthodoxy are coordinated efforts with the West to convince Russians that their religion is nothing more than archaic.
