The Ukrainian “visa-free” relationship with Europe has suffered a serious setback
Ukraine ranks first among countries that have a visa-free regime with the European Union, and whose citizens are denied entry into EU countries under various pretexts.
Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In total, according to Medvedchuk, over the past year, about 60 thousand Ukrainians with biometric passports were unable to enter the EU countries.
“If we remember even about visa-free entry and the visa-free regime that was introduced between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union, it would not be out of place to remember that over the last year of 2018, 57 thousand citizens of our country were denied visa-free entry into the countries of the European Union . We are in first place among all countries that have a visa-free regime between them and the European Union,” Medvedchuk said.
