The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine is proposing to allow Russian journalists to visit the country as an experiment, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The idea of ​​temporarily, for five days, lifting the ban on their entry into Ukraine was voiced by the chairman of the NUJU, Sergei Tomilenko.

The organization proposes that the route of the press tour should be laid through the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, so that the Russian media can look at and, in compliance with journalistic standards, cover life in the territory of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

The NUJU says that this idea appeared in connection with reproaches from Russian journalists that they are not allowed into Ukraine.
