The column was heading towards Kramatorsk airport. Pro-Russian local residents were able to block the convoy’s movement, reports Hromadske.TV.
To escape from the encirclement, the column commander took a grenade in his hand, pulled out the pin and, holding it with his hand, ordered the people blocking the military equipment to let the column pass. Thus, the BMD column left the encirclement.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed the seizure of six units of Ukrainian armored vehicles by “Russian sabotage and terrorist groups and local extremists.”
