Ukrainian media will publish information with the permission of the prosecutor
The OOS command took a number of measures aimed at tightening control over the Ukrainian media.
Official representative of the DPR UNM Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The OOS command is carrying out a set of measures to “...prevent the disclosure in the media of information about identified criminal offenses in the operation zone...”, and in simple words – media censorship.
“Now all media, before publishing information, for example, about the fact of looting by Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in the zone of operation of the occupying forces or the facts of violence against civilians by terrorists of the Azov regiment, must ask permission about this from the relevant military prosecutor. Here is their list:
military prosecutor of the entire Joint Forces Operation – Tsitsak O.V.;
military prosecutor of the Lugansk garrison - Lyashenko A.S.;
military prosecutor of the Kharkov garrison - R.S. Grishchenko;
military prosecutor of the Donetsk garrison - Lavrinenko D.V.;
Military prosecutor of the Mariupol garrison – A.V. Gladiy,” said Eduard Basurin.
In addition, he noted that Tsitsak and Lyashenko are, in a sense, oligarchs: they each own 400 m² of housing and three luxury foreign cars.
“The property of Grishchenko, Lavrinenko and Gladia is simpler: each has two apartments and two foreign-made cars. But in any case, these purchases could not be made with honestly earned money, since since 2014 their official salaries have been 400-500 thousand hryvnia per year,” said a representative of the defense department.
“Such prosecutors benefit from the non-dissemination of information about the initiation of criminal cases against militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the NSU, which can be closed for a certain amount,” Eduard Basurin noted in conclusion.
