Ukrainian sex slaves will not fly to Spain

In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who had established a channel for transporting Ukrainian women to Spain for the purpose of further sexual exploitation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by the Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“Employees of the Department for Combating Crimes Related to Trafficking in Persons of the police in the Odessa region established that a 46-year-old citizen of a neighboring state organized an international human trafficking channel. The attacker recruited Ukrainian women for further sexual exploitation in Spain,” the report says.

Operatives detained the suspect at the capital's airport. Urgent investigative actions are being carried out and the issue of choosing a preventive measure against the detainee is being decided. In addition, the full circle of persons involved in the criminal offense and other circumstances are established.
