Ukrainian group in Donbass scatters due to bestial conditions
Ukrainian military personnel refuse to renew their contract to continue their stay as part of the group in the Donbass due to bestial conditions.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to unsatisfactory provision of clothing, food, as well as the lack of normal accommodation and living conditions, last week alone in the 128th mountain assault and 92nd mechanized brigades, 90 servicemen refused to renew their contracts,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
The second important reason for the reluctance to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in his opinion, is the constant extortions from commanders.
“The required bonuses for completing tasks on the first and second lines of defense are not given in full; some of them are retained by commanders for the needs of the brigade, and some as fines go into the pockets of the same commanders,” added the representative of the defense department.
Daniil Bezsonov also noted that, according to privates, sergeants and junior command staff, only senior officers receive the money in full, most of whom do not even leave the headquarters.
