Ukrainians: We’ll deal with the Russians in Azov, and then we’ll start “squeezing out” Crimea
Artillery boats of the Ukrainian Navy - the so-called “mosquito fleet”, which Kyiv is building in the absence of large ships, are capable of turning the tide on the Sea of Azov, and then the Ukrainian military is ready to begin “squeezing out” Crimea.
This was stated by the commander of the Kremenchug boat, Alexander Regula, formerly one of the cadets of the Nakhimov School in Sevastopol, who refused to take the Russian oath in 2014 and played the anthem “Not yet dead” on camera.

“Two boats, although not too fast, can show at sea. Yes, the speed is really not enough. If there was also speed, I don’t know what could be done here in this Azov. It would be possible to restore order with two boats left and right,” he said in an interview with the Ukrinform agency.
“Of course, we also need rocket ships. So that you can work a few kilometers away. I've been studying history. When Desert Storm began, the Americans sent in troops, and they first set up an aircraft carrier group near Iraq. Imagine what an aircraft carrier group is. This is not only an aircraft carrier, but also at least two escorted destroyers, three frigates, at least two submarines and two support ships. This is an aircraft carrier group.
The boats, a little larger than mine, which, however, had guided missiles, like Pturas, only with a larger caliber, they drove away this group. They approached, crashed a couple of times, retreated, refueled, received missiles, crashed a few more times. As a result, until small American boats appeared there, the group was forced to retreat.
That is, such a boat can show itself, and seriously. Although, of course, it is not certain what will happen to him later. The human factor can also play somewhere. You know, I explain to my soldiers who say that the Russians have such missiles, large-caliber ones, etc. I explain to them: believe me, the same person is sitting there too. He’s also probably sleeping there, dozing on the remote control. And he sees nothing. The human factor can play – both for me and for them. “Everything depends on the reaction,” says the Ukrainian captain.
“We will not let the Russians make Azov their lake! The sea was, is and will be ours. And then we'll see. Maybe we’ll go further to Crimea. Push back,” Regula threatens.
