Ukraine dragged China into the conflict in Donbass
The flag of the People's Republic of China was seen at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdeevka area.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov stated this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Realizing that without the world community, Ukraine is nothing but zilch, the Ukrainian security forces are trying to drag other countries into the conflict in Donbass, even without their knowledge.
We have repeatedly noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have ostentatiously hung flags of foreign countries - Poland, the USA, Hungary, and the Czech Republic - at their positions in the Avdiivka area. In recent days, the flag of the People’s Republic of China has been demonstrably displayed at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He noted that in international practice this demonstrates the participation of this country or its citizens in a military conflict.
“There are indeed mercenaries from Western and European countries on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but it is very doubtful that China even knows about the war in Donbass, and even more so that Chinese citizens come here as volunteers,” said an official representative of the defense department.
He also promised to bring information to the Chinese leadership about the use of the Chinese flag by Ukrainian militants.
“I think the Chinese authorities will be unpleasantly surprised by the appearance of the flag of their state on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And we will try to ensure that photo and video evidence of Ukraine’s violations of international conventions reaches the recipient,” Daniil Bezsonov said in conclusion.
Ukraine has drawn China into the conflict in Donbas.
