Ukraine loses second final to Russia in Rio

Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Davit Chakvetadze won the Olympic gold medal in the 85 kg weight category , defeating Ukrainian Zhan Beleniuk, who was considered one of Ukraine's best hopes for gold, in the final of the tournament in Rio.

The fight ended with a score of 9:2 in favor of the Russian athlete. This gold medal was the tenth for Russia at this Olympics.

It is noteworthy that this is the second time Ukraine has missed the opportunity to defeat Russia in the final. Earlier, the Russian women's team won gold in the team saber, defeating the Ukrainian team in the final.

It's worth noting that during the awards ceremony, the Ukrainian athlete hugged his winner, despite such behavior being harshly criticized by Ukrainian officials.
