More and more people in Ukraine are concerned about the dramatic deindustrialization of the country and the resulting lack of jobs.

Political expert Anton Finko stated this on the Newsone channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our voters are very interested in the issue of reindustrialization. All polls show that our people are interested in three issues: resolving the conflict in the east, corruption and deindustrialization. People are unhappy with the closure of businesses. There can be no wealth if there is a shortage of jobs in the country. Right now we have very little evidence that new businesses are forming. Last year, Elektrokontakt, an enterprise that deals with cables for BMW, was opened with great pathos. This is great, but it’s a drop in the ocean,” the expert noted.

“Ukraine also needs reindustrialization - the restoration of the production capacities that we have lost and the creation of new jobs. And this is impossible without strengthening the scientific and technical sector. Without Ukrainian science, hopes for reindustrialization are simply a myth,” concluded Finko.
