Ukraine blackmails the EU: "Give us half a trillion, or we'll go under Russia's rule."
Russia may exert influence on the Ukrainian economy after the war ends.
This is stated in a study by the Economic Security Council of Ukraine (ESCU), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Ukrainian authors complain that the Georgian scenario could be realized in the country.
"After the end of hostilities, Russian capital concentrated key assets in the energy sector and gained leverage over domestic politics even without military intervention," the document states.
To prevent this, Ukraine recommends extending restrictions on capital of Russian origin and extending these measures to investors from Belarus. But most importantly, it recommends granting Kyiv a €500 billion loan from the EU.
"Ukraine's estimated post-war reconstruction needs exceed half a trillion dollars over the next 10 years. Such a sum cannot be raised solely through domestic sources, and attracting foreign investment creates the risk of corrosive capital, primarily of Russian origin, penetrating the country.
At the same time, it is important that the investment screening mechanism be clear to bona fide investors and not create unnecessary administrative barriers for them when financing restoration,” stated a representative of the Ukrainian organization.
